Step 5: Put your Samsung device into Download mode
Follow these steps to enter Download Mode:
1.Power off your device
2.Press and hold Volume Down key,Home Key and Power Key
3.When your device vibrates,release Power key while keep holding the Volume Down key and Home key
4.Confirm by pressing volume up

Step 6: Connect your device to PC
Make sure you are using a genuine USB Cable. Phone will be automatically recognized by Odin. Log window in Odin should show a message >Added!
Step 7: Click “AP” to add tar.md5 file that you have extracted, should take some seconds to load, and then click “Start”.
If the firmware package had multiple files:
Click on BL button, then browse and select the file that has BL in its name
Click on AP button and select the file that has AP in its name
Click on CP button and select the file that has CP in its name
Click on CSC button and select the file with CSC in its name
After adding the file, click “Start” to begin the flashing process. Do NOT remove cable or interrupt flashing process until flash is finished or failed
When the flashing process is done and if everything goes well, you should see a big green box saying “PASSED”. Phone should reboot and it is safe to unplug your device from usb cable
Optional: After flashing different firmware or newer android version is recommended to hard reset your device:
1. Power off your device
2. Hold the Volume up + Home + Power buttons at the same time
3. Once the android recovery mode appears, select: wipe data / factory reset with the volume keys and confirm with power button
4. After wipe is done select reboot now from recovery menu
